Essentials[edit]

You begin facing a damaging water pool. Take the radiation shielding suit and chaingun in the corners if you want them, then go through the eastern passage to enter a square junction with zombiemen. Take the east corridor and go to the very end, then enter the doorway here to see a skull switch in another water pool. Press the switch then go back to the corridor and continue east until you see a silver doorway on your right; the red skull key is behind this door, but it will close every time you approach it. Go to the east end of the corridor (which will open the doorway) and open the blue strip of wall to find a hidden tunnel, then follow it round and open the wall at the end to keep the doorway open.

Go back to the junction and enter the north corridor, which will open a window to your right revealing zombiemen (and lost souls on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher) guarding the blue skull key. Open the red door at the end of the north corridor (a spectre is waiting behind it on Ultra-Violence (UV) and Nightmare (NM)), then open the northern gray wall and press the skull switch behind it to raise stairs nearby. Open the western gray wall now and climb the stairs, drop into the pit and press the silver wall behind It, which will lower two lifts in front of and behind you. Ride the northern lift up and head east through a gray panel (it will lower automatically as you approach), then follow the path east past another panel to a large lift and ride it down to the blue key room. Press the button on the north wall to lower the plinth with the blue key (the south button lowers a partial invisibility), and open a closet with a few enemies and a plasma gun.

Step through the window to return to the junction then go south to a room with two locked doors. Open the south (blue) door to see a walkway over a water pool and follow it to another door at the south end of the room, then open the door to find a zombiemen guarding a skull switch. Press the switch and head back to the square room, fighting through some monsters that have been released near the walkway, then enter the now-open chamber to the west to collect the yellow skull key. Open the east (yellow) door and kill a few zombies waiting in the room ahead, then open the southern metal wall and head straight forward to a door (a cacodemon guards it on UV and NM). Open the door to find a zombiemen protecting the exit button.

Other points of interest[edit]

The N east of the exit room contains a computer area map.

Secrets[edit]

Official[edit]

  1. Inside the red key room, walk through the fireplace (kill the zombieman inside it first) to trigger a lift going down to a secret room with enemies in cages. At the opposite end of this room you can find a radiation suit, a computer area map, and a box of shotgun shells (this item only appears on HMP or higher). Up to three secrets can be obtained here. (sector 159)
  2. See secret #1. (sector 160)
  3. See secret #1. (sector 163)
  4. Behind the red door, open the wall dead ahead for a switch which raises the steps accessible from opening the wall on the left side of the room. (sector 73)
  5. In the outdoor area with the white-colored floor in the northern part of the map, you should spot a supercharge in an interior room. To get it, you can lower the wall on the left side, and find a wall which starts a misalignment in the gray walls. You can also lower the wall on the right, and then the nearest wall on your left, finding another misalignment. Either way, open the wall here to reach the supercharge room, where you can grab the supercharge by pressing the switch on the side of the pillar. This area counts as eleven secrets, including the steps leading into the room on both ends, the room itself, and the supercharge pillar. (sector 99)
  6. See secret #5. (sector 101)
  7. See secret #5. (sector 102)
  8. See secret #5. (sector 103)
  9. See secret #5. (sector 104)
  10. See secret #5. (sector 105)
  11. See secret #5. (sector 106)
  12. See secret #5. (sector 107)
  13. See secret #5. (sector 108)
  14. See secret #5. (sector 109)
  15. See secret #5. (sector 112)
  16. Once you open the yellow door, open the metal wall straight ahead to find a backpack. (sector 22)
  17. In the room past the yellow door, open the metal wall at the north end to reach a hallway containing health bonuses. (sector 27)

Non-official[edit]

  • In the hallway leading to the exit door, open the metal wall just after the western window to get a supercharge.
