E2M6: The Bleeding Bookcase is the sixth map in the City of Dissidents episode of The Joy of Mapping 4: Summer School. It was designed by Dusk and uses the music track "In Tents," originally composed by Lee Jackson for Duke Nukem 3D. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 55 seconds.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. At the north end, head to the west side of the fence and look north to find a skull switch (you have to look from the west side, not directly north, or you will not see the switch). Shoot the switch to open a passage east leading to rockets and a megaarmor. (sector 349)
  2. Go to the rocket launcher and climb the broken wall near it. Head through the translucent wall to get a medikit, rockets, and boxes of rockets. (sector 241)
  3. On the ledge at the south end, press the switch behind the wall and head south to a teleporter to get a soul sphere. (sector 115)
