Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
You begin facing a staircase that leads up to a large T. Enter the doorway on your left to find a zombieman guarding a door, open it and head south over a bridge. Continue south past more zombies to a set of doors, pass through them and climb some steps to enter a small maze of silver blocks. Go through and around the maze to reach the passage in the north-west corner, then ride the lift in this passage down to a gray room with some zombiemen. As you enter the room the back wall will open to reveal a teleporter; enter the teleporter to get on top of the silver blocks you passed earlier, then step across them to reach the yellow skull key at the north-east end.
The key is placed on a teleporter that will send you to a room to the north, which is guarded by shotgun guys, imps and demons on Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher. Leave the room and go north and west to an octagonal junction, then head south into a room with shotgun guys (the door will close behind you for 30 seconds) and blow up the barrel at the south end to reach a button behind it. Press the button then go back to the octagonal junction, where the north wall has opened, then step through that wall to face a couple of zombiemen. Approach the button in the south-west corner to lower the wall behind you and reveal more monsters, then press the button to raise a staircase.
Climb the staircase and follow the corridor to a door, then go through it to see a concrete structure ahead. The middle of the structure moves up and down, letting you access four buttons that will raise bridges to the four surrounding pillars where you can get a megaarmor, a backpack, a partial invisibility and a box of rockets; save the rockets for last as they are placed on a teleporter that leads back to a nearby room. Go to the T room, where the west wall has lowered to reveal zombiemen (plus demons and lost souls on HMP or higher), then open the door in the north-west corner of the room to find a passage leading round to the cage containing the exit button.
Other points of interest[edit]
The yellow key is not used to open any doors in this level. Because it is placed on a teleporter, it may exist as a waypoint for the player.
On the bridge south of the starting point, drop into the blood pools on either side to lower lifts holding a chainsaw and a backpack. The teleporters here will send you to the room east of the T.
You can open the monster closet south of the octagonal junction early by opening it like a normal door, instead of opening it when you press the button further ahead.
