E2M7: The Gate is the seventh map of Eye of the Beholder. It was designed by Jon Landis and uses the music track "".

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. After going through the first teleporter, leave the cage and head north. A podium with four switches will rise from the floor. Press the northern switch 22 times to raise the nearby floor to the required height, then press the western switch to lower the floor as a lift. When it is at the bottom, press the eastern switch then take the lift up. Jump across to the west to a soul sphere - a door will be briefly opened behind it, revealing a plasma cannon. (sector 52)
