E2M8: Ground Zero is the eighth and final map of episode (The Collider's) New Clothes in Return to Hadron. It was designed by Matt Powell (cannonball) and uses the music track "Stigmatism", originally composed by John Weekley (PRIMEVAL) for Reverie, in both the original version and Ultimate edition. In the Ultimate edition this level received minor geometry changes and a number of thing updates.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the main arena, head south to the cave, but double-back and hug the left wall until you reach the railing. Drop into the lava and enter the southwest cave to find boxes of ammo, boxes of rockets, armor bonuses, energy cell packs, and a soul sphere. (sector 242)
  2. In Secret #1, head northeast and look northwest. Shoot the switch and head west to a teleporter. This takes you to energy cells and a BFG9000. (sector 194, Ultimate edition only)
