Walkthrough[edit]

Map of Serenity Forever
Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Kill the imp waiting around the corner then head south and east into a hallway leading to a blue door. Halfway along the hallway is a barrel in front of a switch, which will open four monster closets in the previous room. Enter the southernmost closet to collect the blue skull key, then go through the blue door and open another door at the south end of the next room to see another switch ahead; as you pass through the door, another closet will open to your right. Flip the switch then go back to the previous room, where the S chamber has opened on the east side. Approach the S to open the first E chamber, then continue east and south through the remaining letters until you drop into a courtyard containing the Y and the cyberdemon. The level will end automatically when the cyberdemon is killed.

Other points of interest[edit]

This map contains no weapons, making the map extremely difficult to finish from a pistol start. You will be able to grab a shotgun dropped by a shotgun guy, otherwise you will more than likely run out of bullets and have to attempt to punch the cyberdemon to death in order to end the map.

Secrets[edit]

Official[edit]

There are no official secrets in this level.

Non-official[edit]

  • Stepping on the N will open a monster closet to the north. Enter it and open the wall with the gargoyle to find zombiemen guarding a switch that will lower the yellow skull key. The key can be used to open the slime-covered wall in front of the Y, letting you kill the cyberdemon safely; its rockets will not be able to pass over the Y.
  • Open the gargoyle wall in the I chamber to find a supercharge, a backpack and large ammo pickups.
