E2M8: Serenity Forever is the eighth and final level of the episode replacement Eternity. It was designed by Björn Hermans and Holger Nathrath, and uses the music track "Facing the Spider" by Robert Prince, from Doom.

Technical information[edit]

In the Maximum Doom versions, this level replaces MAP08 instead of E2M8. Therefore, it cannot be completed due to the use of tag 666 in the cyberdemon room.

Inspiration and development[edit]

Trivia[edit]

  • There are no weapons available for pickup, making the map extremely difficult to finish from a pistol start. There is a chance you will be able to grab a shotgun dropped by a shotgun guy, otherwise you will more than likely run out of bullets and have to attempt to punch the cyberdemon to death in order to end the map.
