E2M8: The Gate is the eighth and final map of episode The Shores of Hell in Doom the Way id Did: The Lost Episodes. It was designed by Jeff Shark (Marnetmar) and Xaser.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Step into the arena and prepare to face a group of demons and lost souls that attack from all directions; if you need weapons, you can find a rocket launcher and 14 boxes of rockets in the north building, as well as a berserk pack behind it. When you are ready, press the button on the computer terminals in the middle of the arena to summon a cyberdemon, which will teleport to the four corners of the map before appearing on the center pentragram. The level automatically ends when the cyberdemon dies.
