E2M8: Tower of Babel is the eighth and final map in episode The Shores of Hell of Ultimate Doom In Name Only. It was designed by Alex Scott (Scotty) and uses the music track "Nobody Told Me About id" by Robert Prince, remixed by John Weekley (PRIMEVAL).

Walkthrough

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. After teleporting from the first tower, head east into the lava and climb up some rocky steps. Take the teleporter to get a plasma gun and a soul sphere. (sector 63)
2. Head southwest from where you teleport to and onto a marble wall. Jump south to a white rock and climb up to get a soul sphere. (sector 853)
3. In the west building, run east from the highest ledge to the armor bonus. The east wall will lower, revealing candles. Go to them to take a teleporter. You will get boxes of ammo, rockets, medikits, a green armor, and partial invisibility. Press two switches to get a plasma gun to the east. (sector 647)
