E2SM1: Easter Stone is the ninth and first secret map in episode Not Egypt Again! of The Edge of Time. It was designed by FireSeraphim and uses the music track "Easter Stone" from Gradius III.

Secrets[edit]
- In the first hall with crushers, head under the left crusher and to the left. Use the south wall with bloody hands to pick up an invulnerability. (sector 310)
- In the first hall with crushers, head under the right crusher and to the right. Use the south wall with bloody hands to pick up a megacharge. (sector 312)
- At the northwest end, enter the room at the west side and go to the middle. Look up at the east column and shoot the target. Leave the room and get the golden medikit from the lowering obelisk. (sector 362)
- Ride Secret #3 up while facing the north wall. Jump through the translucent part and you will find gray money bags and an unholy bible. (sector 363)
- At the northwest end, enter the room at the west side and go to the middle. Look up at the west column and shoot the target, which lowers the west wall. This reveals Fléchettes, unholy demon chests, ritual daggers, and a chest. (sector 381)
- At the northeast room, head into the lava at the east end and go north through the translucent wall to get an argent channeler, big argent cells, and an argent particle cannon. (sector 869)

Inspiration and development[edit]
This level was inspired by the classic Moai stages in the Gradius series, with the act two twist of most of the Brown Moai turning into Red Moai being a callback to the Moai stages tending to introduce a new twist to the Moais halfway through the stage (for example, the laser eyes Moai introduced partway through Gradius Gaiden's Moai stage).
