Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Leave the starting structure then head east past some shotgun guys and follow a winding passage to a cavern with some lava. Kill some waiting imps, step through the lava to the steps on the north side then climb up them and continue east to a white bridge. Cross the bridge, noting the cacodemons hiding in the white rocks on either side, then open the door ahead to enter a T-junction and take the north path. Push past a demon to enter a room with a metal column, which has two shotgun guys on it, then open the eastern door and climb the steps in front of you to find three imps guarding a white teleporter. Use the teleporter to reach the north-west area of the map, then follow the hallway to a cave with a winding bridge and step across it to reach a pentagram cube. Step round this cube to find a baron of Hell guarding a skull switch, which will open the cube to reveal the red skull key.
Go back to the teleporter, fighting through some imps and demons (plus a cacodemon on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare skill levels) that have been released on the way, then use the teleporter to return to the previous area and dodge some imps that have been released behind you. Go back into the room with the metal column and enter the northern junction, then take the west fork and follow the path to the exit door. Open the door and kill two demons waiting on either side of it, then enter the teleporter in the north-west corner to finish the level.

Secrets[edit]
- In the central lava area, drop to the north side and take the teleporter on the north-west rock. When you teleport, open the bloody wall behind you to get an armor. (sector 63)
- In the central lava area, drop to the north side and use the switch to raise a bridge up. Head south on the main bridge and south on the fork to reach another rock, then open the bloody wall to find a teleporter leading to a backpack. (sector 186)
- At secret #2, get on the high wall and jump south to the other high wall. The wall ahead lowers revealing a medikit, lost souls, an energy cell and a box of bullets. (sector 165) On Hey Not Too Rough or lower, you will only find a medikit here.
- At the southern-most area, use the east switch to open the center, then the switch in the center to reveal a teleporter to the south. Instead of taking that teleporter, head north and take the lift up to reach a medikit. This counts as six secrets. (sector 110)
- See secret #4. (sector 111)
- See secret #4. (sector 112)

- See secret #4. (sector 109)
- In the south-east room with the plus shaped column, use the lion switch on the column to lower it, then quickly enter the room to the north. Enter the teleporter to the north-west before it rises to reach a supercharge. (sector 173)
- In the south-east room with the plus-shaped column, use the east wall to find a lift leading to a chaingun. (sector 90)
- After you get the red key, return to the hall at the east side and look south at the cage. Shoot the switch, and the lava pool nearby will rise up. Go to the other end and the wall will lower revealing a box of shotgun shells, a box of bullets and a medikit. (sector 178)
- Pressing the switch that reveals the red key also reveals a passage north-west of the big lava pool. Go in to reach the area with cacodemons and a berserk pack. (sector 190)
- Head north from the berserk pack through the wall with the candle to find an energy cell and a teleporter. (sector 194)
- The teleporter in secret #14 is a separate secret, but is not accessible without cheating. (sector 195)
Bugs[edit]
Only 93% secrets is possible due to secret #15 being inaccessible.
