E3M3: The Styxs is the third map of Back to Hell. It was designed by David Seager.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the southern part of the level is a room with two switches flanking a fire. One switch opens up an area near the exit revealing a soul sphere as well as a baron of Hell (a cacodemon on easy skill), and the other opens up a room immediately south with three imps (two on easy skill), a clip, 4 shotgun shells, a medikit, and an armor. (sector 218)
  2. En route to the blue key, you will go through a small beige room with two grey walls in the corner. These grey walls are a secret door leading to a soul sphere. (sector 411)
  3. Behind the blue door, there are two switches behind floor lamps. Shooting these switches open up secret doors. One of them opens up a nearby soul sphere. (sector 428)
  4. The other switch (see #3) opens up a room to the south-east of the room with the arrow on the floor. This room contains two medikits. (sector 445)
