E3M4: The Gatehouse is the fourth map in episode The Verdant Reaches of The Joy of Mapping 4: Summer School. It was designed by Benjogami and uses the music track "Sinister," originally composed by Robert Prince for Doom. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 3:30.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Enter the nukage and head to the east side under the vines. Open the east wall and follow this path getting rockets and a soul sphere. (sector 176)
  2. At the end of Secret #1, you need to use a rocket jump to jump to the west cave (using the rocket launcher that is at the south end). Make it into the cave to find a megaarmor, boxes of rockets and another rocket launcher. (sector 186)
