E3M5: Technology is the fifth map of Spectrum. It was designed by Adam Windsor (Capellan) and uses the music track "In Memory Of HERETIC" by Taw Tu'lki.

Walkthrough

Map of Technology

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. At the start, use the panel to the south to reveal rockets and a rocket launcher to the right. (sector 10)
2. In the central hall, open the west wall with a red light on it to find rockets, a medikit, energy cells, and a backpack. (sector 24)
3. In the northeast corner, use the silver ridge at the southeast end to lower a block at the northwest end. Ride it up and take the teleporter to get a BFG9000 and energy cells. (sector 70)
4. In the yellow key room, climb the steps and use the switch on the right side of the terminal. Quickly run to the room to the west and into the opening on the west side to get health bonuses and a megaarmor. (sector 266)
