This level occupies the map slot E3M6. For other maps which occupy this slot, see Category:E3M6.
E3M6: Mt. Erebus is the fifth level of Inferno in Doom for Super NES. It is based on the original E3M6: Mt. Erebus, with modifications to adapt the map to the console's limitations. The authors of the original map are Tom Hall and Sandy Petersen, and it uses an S-SMP arrangement of the music track "On the Hunt".

Comparison of versions[edit]
Blocking, mid-textured, two-sided linedefs creating holding cells for some imps were removed and replaced, and some of the holding cells were additionally reshaped slightly.
The ledge used to jump to the secret exit to E3M9: Warrens was extended outward significantly to give the player room to line up a running leap into the pit holding the secret exit, as the original method of using rocket splash damage to reach the exit is not supported in the Reality Engine.
