E3M6: River of Styx is the sixth map of Styx. It was designed by Nathan Chapman (Bishop).

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the marble room to the south, use the north side of the switch column to unlock a teleporter to the east. Take it to get a soul sphere. (sector 52)
  2. After crossing the three rising and lowering pillars, enter the cave and go to the bright wall. Open it to get a stimpack, a box of shotgun shells, a box of ammo, and a radiation suit. (sector 517)
  3. Take the lift west of the large blood pit. At the top, use the skull on the east wall to get a chainsaw. (sector 153)
  4. Take the lift east of the large blood pit. At the top, use the skull that the light is flashing on to find a box of ammo and three key switches. With the keys, you will unlock three sets of bars, leading to a medikit, energy cells, and a BFG9000. By crossing some platforms going southeast, you can use the switch. Afterwards, head into the south cave and follow the path of health bonuses to a switch, revealing a teleporter in the central rock. Taking it leads to the secret exit. (sector 497)
  5. In the north maze, go to the east side and enter the small dead-end path leading west to armor bonuses and a berserk pack. Entering this section will lower a lift in a dead end further northeast. Take it to find energy cell packs, a megaarmor, health bonuses, and a switch. The switch will lower the blue key. (sector 280)
