E3M7: E1M7 - Bloody Premonition is the seventh map in the third episode of Switcheroom. It was designed by scifista42 and is based on the layout of E1M7: Computer Station. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 2:45.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Press the wooden wall in front of you to lower it and reveal a shotgun (or two shotgun guys on Hurt Me Plenty skill levels, then walk east to a radiation shielding suit and use it to cross the damaging blood, where you will find a second suit. Head south through a window to land in a pool of water outside, collect the partial invisibility then head south and west through the water to find the red skull key. Watch out for the zombies and lost souls that appear on the surrounding ledges.

Climb back through the window and walk west into a room with a red block, then go south until you reach some steps that go up to a blood pool; the column in the center will lower to reveal a baron of Hell guarding a plasma gun and another radiation suit. Enter the left-hand tunnel at the west end of the pool to reach a spine lift, then ride it up to a lava pool with two red columns. Open the red door in the column nearest to you, then enter the teleporter behind it to enter an alcove covered by brown vines. Step through the vines and walk north to find the yellow skull key.

From the yellow key, drop to the floor below and walk north until you come to a window, opposite a doorway covered by green vines, then step through the window to enter another blood pool. Go to the red column in this pool and open the yellow door inside it, then enter the revealed teleporter to go to the ledge with the blue skull key; taking it raises a bridge leading back to the pool where you faced the baron. Enter the right-hand tunnel at the west end this time and head north until you reach yet another blood pool, then take the invulnerability behind you before entering it. Go to the lift in the north-west corner of the pool, which will automatically lower for you, then press the eye switch to raise it again and follow the passage round to a second eye switch. Pressing this switch raises a bridge in the room below, letting you reach the island in the center.

Go down to the room below, noting the cacodemon and lost souls that have been released near the lift, then step across the bridge you just raised to reach a blue door. Open the door and enter the teleporter behind it, then follow the path across a bridge to the exit door. Open the door and step on the white teleporter behind it to finish the level.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Head south-east from the starting point all the way to a lowering lift. Press the switch to rise up, go north and west, then north through a wall to get a medikit and an armor. (sector 49)
  2. In the north-west hall, go to the middle and through the east wall to find a supercharge. (sector 63)
  3. Go through the north-west hall, then head to the center of the map. Head south of the bright red walls and into a section behind vines. Find a switch behind the vines to the south and use it, which opens up the middle of the bright red walls. This has a BFG9000 and rockets. (sector 167)
  4. At the south bridge, go into the blood to the north, then into the small tunnel to the north-west. Head east into a teleporter to get health bonuses. Open the red door to get rockets and a rocket launcher. (sector 215)
  5. At the south-west teleporters, head into the south one. Follow the path and a bridge will rise up. When it finishes, cross south-east and go through the wall to find an energy cell, a stimpack and a light amplification visor. (sector 229)
