E3M7: Strange, Strange Instruments is the seventh map in episode Catastrophe in Bhavaagra of Tarnsman's Projectile Hell. It was designed by Richard Frei (Tarnsman) and uses the music track "Decade" by Sarah Mancuso (esselfortium). The par time defined in MAPINFO is 11:00.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Head north and northwest from the starting building into the lava to find health bonuses and a soul sphere (megasphere on Not Too Rough or lower). (sector 1441)
  2. Head directly south from the previous secret, through more lava, following the path all the way to a secret where if you continue south, you can find a plasma gun and energy cells. (sector 1099)
  3. In the small hall connecting to the south central part of the map, open the northeast door to a megaarmor and energy cell packs. There is a button on the south wall. When you press it, go southwest from the door and take the teleporter to get an invulnerability. (sector 3564)
  4. Teleport out of the southwest arena, then get on the bridge to the north. Jump southwest onto a high ledge and go south to get a megaarmor. (sector 412)
  5. Get back on the bridge and when the doors open, jump northwest and continue in that direction. Head southwest and follow the path all the way to a dead end. At the northernmost end, press on the gray square, then head northeast and into the hole to get a megasphere. (sector 1294)
  6. In the shack with the HE gauss shotgun, when the lifts lower, get on the middle one on the south side. At the top, head counter-clockwise and use the switch at the end. Head southeast from the shack to find a box of ammo and stimpacks, as well as a passage to the right. (sector 1684)
  7. Take the passage from Secret #6 all the way until you lower into the blood. Head southwest and press the switch, then head back and go through the northwest bloodfall to get medikits. (sector 3536)
  8. Head out of Secret #6 and head through the lava south of it, then east into a cave. At the end is a radiation suit and a stimpack. (sector 3532)
  9. At the southeasternmost end, head west through the lava and when the path forks, keep going west. At the next fork, head south and east to get a medikit and shotgun shells. (sector 3209)
  10. Open the blue door at the west end and use the wall with the electricity symbol to find a passage leading to a megasphere. (sector 2627)
