E3M8: A Specific Ocean is the eighth map in the State of Submergency episode of The Joy of Mapping 5: Winter Weekend. It was designed by Fletcher` and uses the music track "Spook," originally composed by Robert Prince for Duke Nukem 3D. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 7:00.

Secrets[edit]
- In the first underwater area, go to the northeast corner to get a radiation suit. (sector 651)
- On the curved walkway at the north end, jump over the fence to the east onto a bridge and head east to get rockets and stimpacks. (sector 765)
- In the underwater tunnel at the west end, swim north and northeast, then rise up all the way to get a megaarmor. (sector 271)
