E3M8: The First Portal is the eighth and final map in the third episode of Doom: Damnation. It was designed by Ofisil and uses the music track "Stay Away". The par time defined in the DEHACKED lump is 1:50.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Press the eye switch in front of you and you will be carried up to the arena which is overlooked by cacodemons - do not start shooting until you are ready as when you do, imps will begin teleporting in followed by demons, barons of Hell and three or four spiderdemons. As soon as you enter the arena, grab the plasma gun, supercharge and two partial invisibilities around you followed by the armor, weapons and ammo in the corners. There are two more supercharges on flesh steps at the north and south ends of the arena (replaced with invulnerability pickups on I'm Too Young To Die and Hey Not Too Rough skill levels).

Once the final spiderdemon has been killed, the episode will end automatically.
