E3M9: Gutted is the ninth and secret map in the Where Bad Guys Go episode of Lunar Catastrophe. It was designed by Derek Pierson (Count651), and the par time defined in MAPINFO is 1:30.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. In the room with the chainsaw, use the pillar with the heart at the south end, then quickly run west and down the steps, then to the west and around to pick up a BFG9000. (sector 137)
  2. Take the steps south of the plasma gun, then find a switch to the east and use it. Backtrack down the steps, head east to the water, then north and west to where the plasma gun is. Go towards the evil eye to teleport, and you will find a secret area at the northwest end where you can get a rocket launcher, a green armor, a medikit, a backpack, ammo clips, boxes of rockets, and health bonuses. (sector 148)
  3. Drop into the hole where the blue key is, then backtrack to the waterway west of the starting point. Head to the south area which is now open, then enter the middle wall to get a megaarmor. (sector 215)
  4. In the southwest area, once you reach the two paths with ammo on them, take either one, then go through the middle wall to get a backpack and a berserk pack. (sector 295)
