E4M4: News Studio 'Whatever' is the fourth map of Deadly Standards 4. It was designed by DukeOfDoom and Sergey Burow (SilverMiner), and uses the music track "Damage Assessment" by Mark Klem, from Memento Mori II.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Climb the steps at the start to the middle door on the south end. Open it, go to the middle, and lower the west wall. Follow the path south, then head west to get a BFG9000. (sector 37)
  2. Take the northwest door out of the hub and use the vending machine to find a green armor, a medikit, a box of ammo, a backpack, and armor bonuses. (sector 75)
  3. In the area north of the live air area, take the steps to the northeast corner and use the outer metal wall. Head west, then to the skull switch for this secret. The skull switch opens the north door. (sector 264)
  4. In the room with cabinets and a bookshelf at the north end, get the plasma gun to lower the cabinets. Open the painting of a man sitting in a chair at the west wall to find a switch. Press it, then return to the hall where Secret #3 was. Head south and then east to a new hall leading to a soul sphere, armor bonuses, and medikits. (sector 228)
  5. After you leave the northeast water area, you should see a teleporter in the next room. Take it and take the steps going southwest. As you take these steps, look through the south wall to see a demon statue. Shoot it and continue west, then head south to a cave with health bonuses, a soul sphere, a megaarmor, ammo, and partial invisibility. (sector 618)
