E4M4: Nuclear Jellocide is the fourth map of Thy Flesh turned into a draft-excluder. It was designed by Matt Powell (cannonball) and uses the music track "The Imp's Song," originally composed by Robert Prince for Doom.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Unusually, none of the nukage in this map is damaging.
Kill the zombiemen through the window on your right then open the door ahead to enter a marble room with more zombies. Go down the north staircase past some imps and turn left at the bottom then approach the metal wall in front of you - it will automatically lower to reveal some more imps, but watch out for two more zombiemen and/or shotgun guys that teleport behind you. Step past the metal wall and follow the hallway round the corner until you see a red key door ahead, then go up the staircase on your left to an octagonal junction and continue south until the path splits. Go through the doorway on your right to see the blue keycard sitting on a pillar in the middle of a nukage pool, then head through the doorway in the south wall (next to a metal column) and look right to see a skull switch - the switch will lower the blue key, but when you take it various monster closets will open in the general area.
Leave the room through the south-east doorway then proceed east until you reach a blue key door leading back to the starting area. Go down the east staircase and turn right at the bottom to see two more locked doors, go through the south (blue key) door and follow the curved hallway round until it turns north. The hallway ends with a brick archway, but instead of going through here press the metal lift on your right to lower it, ride the lift up to an overhead ledge with imps then proceed east up some steps to a room with a computer block. Go round to the south side of the block and kill a spectre waiting inside it (or cacodemon on Ultra-Violence (UV) and Nightmare (NM) skill levels), press the button it was guarding then head north into a curved passage with an open door halfway along. Kill two demons waiting behind the door then go through and head up the steps to the red keycard.
After getting the red key, turn round and kill two demons and/or barons of Hell that have been revealed behind you then backtrack to the starting area and head down the north staircase again. Turn left at the bottom and follow the hallway round to the red key door you saw earlier, open it and go through to find some small enemies guarding the yellow keycard, along with a spiderdemon that teleports elsewhere. With the yellow key, follow the hallway back to the two locked doors you saw earlier; this time, go through the east (yellow key) door to enter a nukage pool then head north to a button that will lower the pentagram walls on either side. Step through and head west until you reach some ammo boxes, kill the demons and cacodemons that teleport in around you then head north to confront the spiderdemon you encountered earlier. Once the spiderdemon is dead, climb the steps it was guarding then open the door on your right and press a skull switch to finish the level.
Other points of interest[edit]
Just west of the blue key room is a smaller chamber with a nukage-fall. Flip the switch here then leave the chamber through the south or west doorways and proceed west to a now-open door. Go through the door and head down the steps to an octagonal room with spectres; as you enter the north wall will lower to reveal a crowd of imps. After killing them, press the skull switch on the east wall to lower a pillar with a rocket launcher.
After getting the red key, go to the room underneath this key and head through the north door, then go down the steps on your right to a switch - approaching it will release shotgun guys and one or two barons behind you, which will teleport to cut off your escape routes. After flipping the switch, head north and west to reach the next room then go up the wooden steps here to a skull switch that you can press to lower a nearby teleporter. The teleporter leads to an enclosed room on the north side of the map - you can flip the switch in the middle of this room to lower a pillar with a plasma gun, but you will have to fight off an ambush by barons and demons to escape. The teleporter inside the north closet will take you to the yellow key room.
Secrets[edit]
- At the start, open the door and go down the stairs leading north, turning south-east at the end to find a backpack. Also, if you run down the stairs leading east, look north-west at the end to spot a megaarmor (or armor on UV and NM). Both alcoves count as one secret. (sector 56)
- North-east of the blue key room, at the octagonal junction with the lighted marble column, head east to a blue-floored area and press on the misaligned section of the east wall to find a passage with a rocket, four armor bonuses and a supercharge. (sector 106)
- From the previous secret, if you look south, you will find a small area with a berserk pack inside a column. If you press on the wall south of the column in this room, you will lower it as well as another wall further south. Quickly run through and up the steps to find three boxes of rockets, a box of bullets, a medikit and a partial invisibility. (sector 718)
- After getting the blue key, open the blue key door east of the starting area and follow the curved passage until you reach the side room to the south, which contains a chaingun and other items. Enter the room and look at the terminal on the west side to find a red button. Press on it, then run back to the curved passage and to the door to spot an opening to the left. Enter it quickly to get an energy cell pack, a box of rockets and a medikit. (sector 744)
- At the south-east end of the map, climb the steps leading west and up to a megaarmor. Just before reaching this item, look at the metal column on your right to spot a tiny button in its south side. Press it then return to the south-east room, then go north-west to find a secret room with armor bonuses, an energy cell, a box of rockets and another partial invisibility. (sector 462)
- In the yellow key room, where the rocket launcher was, there is a switch tucked beneath the marble on the north wall. Press it, then go back to the red key door to spot yet another partial invisibility and a computer area map. (sector 666)
- Take either yellow key door to reach the nukage in the center of the map, then press the red button either side of the pentagram walls in this area to lower them. After doing so, open the northern yellow door and climb the steps, then up the small set of steps here to the north-west corner where you will find armor bonuses, an energy cell pack and a supercharge.
