E4M5: Escape Velocity is the fifth map in the Frontier of Chaos episode of The Joy of Mapping 4: Summer School. It was designed by Alex Scott (Scotty) and uses the music track "TechnoDoom," originally composed by Mark Klem for STRAIN. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 1:00.

- Go to the plasma gun at the northeast end and jump to the west, in front of the pillar. Land on the ledge to the west and head northwest, dropping to a teleporter that takes you to boxes of rockets and a rocket launcher. (sector 190)
