E4M9: Dark Shrine is the ninth and secret map of 007: Licence to Spell DooM. It was designed by Stephen Clark (The Ultimate DooMer).

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the very start of the map, follow the river till you reach its eastern end. At that end, you can go further by diving down and surfacing at the cave with a green armor and a medikit. (sector 10)
  2. In the blood maze west of the central room, head north from the start, west past one fork, then south at the next. Dive in and surface at the west side to find a computer area map. (sector 55)
  3. In the room east of the central room, you can jump into the blood fountain to find a box of ammo, a box of shotgun shells, and medikits. (sector 90)
  4. After picking up the green skull key, several monster closets open up. Head to the easternmost one and shoot the north wall to find a radiation suit, a box of ammo, and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 587)
  5. North from the second green door, head into the blood river and swim east past the yellow door. Surface and find a stimpack on the southwest wall which has a hidden corridor back to the hall between the green doors. (sector 623)
  6. In the maze in the northeast part of the map where the blue key is, head to the southwest corner and head northeast to a tile sticking out. Step on it, then head north and west to get a blur artifact. (sector 901)
  7. In the laboratory, enter the northeast hall and press on the middle wall at the south end to get another blur artifact. (sector 907)
