Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
There is only one path through this level. Grab the armor, backpack and chaingun in front of you and kill the zombies ahead, then follow the path to an area with submerged crates - a group of cacodemons will be released from a closet behind you. Head south-east to a pair of shotguns guarded by demons then walk past a tall crate (a baron of Hell is waiting behind it on Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher) and head east until you find a rocket launcher, armor and a backpack. Walk south-east past some rock columns which have shotgun guys and imps hiding behind them until you reach another rocket launcher and a megaarmor, using these items to kill the imps, demons, cacodemons and barons ahead.
Head past another tall crate containing boxes of shotgun shells to an island with a plasma gun, then continue south-west over some nukage streams and into a tunnel containing a supercharge. Walk past some marble columns to find two BFG9000s which you can use to kill the cyberdemons and spiderdemons ahead (the spiders will probably kill each other through infighting). Walk past the monsters to collect a berserk pack and all the weapons, then go south-west through a blood pool and pass two or three barons to a flesh column with a supercharge behind it, then continue following the path past various small enemies until you reach a number of cacodemons and barons in front of some barrels.
Blow up the barrels and drop off the platform behind them - you will find yourself back at the exit building from E4M2. Approach the door of this building and interact with it to finish the level.
