E4M9: The Sky Colony is the ninth map in episode As Heavens Fall of The Joy of Mapping 5: Winter Weekend. It was designed by Gardevoir and uses the music track "Corridors of Time" from Chrono Trigger, composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 4:00.

Walkthrough

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. In the first building you teleport to, head to the southwest teleporter and open the southeast wall to get a chainsaw, armor bonuses, and shotgun shells. (sector 302)
2. At the east side, head to the south building and open the wall in front of the door to get a megaarmor. (sector 872)
3. In the north cave, climb up the steps to the west to the top and open the west wall to get a box of rockets and a switch. The switch opens the barred area to the east with armor bonuses and a plasma gun. (sector 570)
4. In the wintery area, head to the northeast cave and at the entrance, drop to the southeast to get boxes of rockets and a medikit. (sector 1380)
5. In the same cave, go through the large waterfall to the northeast to get a megasphere (soul sphere on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). (sector 1359)
