Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Go straight forward to a marble wall that is revealed ahead and open it, then follow the corridor east or west past some demons until you reach a star-shaped teleporter and step into it to reach the crucifix room to the south. As soon as you enter, run forward to collect a rocket launcher and many boxes of rockets, which you will need to defeat the 25 barons of Hell waiting on either side of the room; once all the barons are dead, the surrounding walls will lower and allow you to go outside.
Drop into the courtyard below and press the small button at the south end, which will raise a bridge over the nukage along with two cyberdemons on the wall ahead, then head across the bridge to the tech block in front of you - it will lower to reveal the exit teleporter, along with a third cyberdemon that needs to be dodged.
Other points of interest[edit]
On Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level, a medikit and a partial invisibility are placed in the outdoor area before the exit. On I'm Too Young To Die and Hey Not Too Rough, a supercharge is placed in the starting hallway, and an invulnerability is placed at the south end of the crucifix room.
The placement of the rocket launcher changes depending on skill level. On Ultra-Violence and Nightmare, it is placed in the center of the crucifix room and you have to risk being hit by the barons waiting on either side as you collect it; on HMP or lower, the weapon and five boxes of rockets are moved further north and you can grab them from relative safety.
