E5M9: Mysterious Island is the ninth and secret map in the Out of the Aeons episode of Strange Aeons. It was designed by Mike MacDee (Impie) and uses the music track "First floor" from The Legacy: Realm of Terror. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 10 seconds.

Secrets

1. Open the yellow door at the west side and flip the switch. Quickly run back to the southeast end and get the megaarmor before the wall rises. (sector 94)
2. At the series of switches around the small fountain, press the second switch from the right on the north side, the second switch from the left on the south side, and finally the rightmost switch on the south side (you can also toggle textures on the automap in ZDoom - the correct switches are the ones not coloured differently) This makes a boat rise south of the starting point, which has a soul sphere. (sector 119)
3. Open the blue door and flip the switch. Quickly leave and head to the northeast ship to get a Yithian lightning gun. (sector 150)
