Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Drop down the hole in front of you and walk forward to a pentagram wall, collect the rocket launcher next to it then open the wall to get outside. In the middle of the arena is a pole with two eye switches - be sure to grab all the items in the arena before pressing the southern switch, as it will open the north wall to reveal a spiderdemon. Kill it, while dodging the lost souls and/or cacodemons that fly in, to end the level.

Other points of interest[edit]

Pressing the switch that releases the spiderdemon also opens two windows on either side of the starting point; you can get back up there if you press the northern switch on the pole, which will raise a staircase. Step through either window to land on the outer wall of the arena, then follow it round to the spiderdemon's compartment to get some items - a megaarmor and a box of shotgun shells on the west side, and a berserk pack and a supercharge on the east side.

Behind the megaarmor is a gargoyle switch - press it to lower the lift on the east side of the arena, which holds a partial invisibility.
