Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
You start on the T-shaped platform near the center of the level. Take the chaingun on the lift to your left and press the lion switch here to go down to a canyon then go west to the wooden building ahead to see a door with a metal lift next to it. Flip the switch next to the lift to lower it, then go up and go to the north end of the floor above to see an evil eye through a window. Shoot the eye to open the door you saw earlier, then go back down to it and pass through the door to see a fire wall ahead that conceals a baron of Hell. Go up the steps next to the fire wall to find a lava pit then look east to see another eye through a hole in the wall, which you can shoot to raise a bridge. Go to the armor on the other side of the lava to lower the surrounding walls, revealing an imp ambush on Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher, then get the clip in front of the column with the beating heart to lower a wall to the west. Go through the wall and follow the path east to a satyr switch, which will open the wall to your left and allow you to drop back into the canyon.
Deal with any waiting enemies then go east and north around the red wall to a lion switch, which will lower a lift at the south end of the wall. Ride the lift up and run along the wall to get the blue skull key, then drop down to the entrance lift and use it to return to the start. Open the blue door opposite the lift and enter the teleporter behind it to go down to the metal platforms in the canyon below, then deal with the enemies that appear in front of you before stepping down to a lift with a gargoyle switch. Press the switch to go down to a plasma gun guarded by one or two shotgun guys, then go north or east into the next room and look at the south wall to see a thin hole with an evil eye, which can be shot to open the bars behind you. Go up the stairs behind the bars to get a berserk pack, which will open four alcoves containing shotgun guys, then enter the southernmost alcove to open the nearby wall. Go through the wall and follow the marble ledge north to a lion switch, press it to raise a bridge behind you, then cross the bridge to drop into a small maze of fences. Go through the western entrance to the maze and go south at the junction to get the yellow skull key.
Taking the yellow key will open a teleporter to the east, which will send you back to the starting point where an imp and some other monsters have appeared. Open the yellow door and step on the lift behind it to go down to a vine-covered structure, then step across the lava to enter the structure and go up the stairs to enter another maze. Go to the north-west corner of the maze to find a satyr switch (guarded by a baron on HMP or higher) and press it to open a wall to the south, then pass through that wall to get on top of the maze and walk south to a teleporter which leads back to the starting point, where the western wall has lowered to reveal a curved path. Follow the path to a teleporter which goes to the west building (note the cyberdemon in the lava below on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare), then open the door in front of you to get inside and face a spectre along with some zombies. Step on the platform in the north-west corner with the impaled human to raise a staircase to the south, go up the stairs to enter a computer room, then go to the north-west end to find an energy cell pack. Stepping over the pack opens the surrounding walls to reveal a group of lost souls, but it also opens a passage in the north-east corner of the computer room.
Go to the passage you just opened and follow it until you reach a dead end, then look at the green wall in the lava to your left—if you look north-west past the west end of the wall you should just be able to see an evil eye, which you can shoot to open the dead end and access a lift. Ride the lift down and go north into a room with several moving floors, then use the floors at the east end of the room to go up to a berserk pack and a gargoyle switch, which will open three monster closets around the room that hold various enemies. Get the red keycard inside the south-eastern closet, then use the moving floors in the middle of the room to go up to an armor and continue north to a red door. Go through the door and go straight forward to a marble wall, which will lower to reveal four barons and four murals, then shoot the murals to open the way to the exit portal, which is guarded by another baron and several zombiemen.

Secrets[edit]
Official[edit]
- Take the lift west of the start down and head west to a door. North of the door is a megaarmor, a box of shotgun shells, and a box of rockets. This secret will close after thirty seconds have passed in the level. (sector 659)
- In the south-west area of the south-west building with the rising and lowering platforms, find a terminal on the inner wall and open it to get a berserk pack. (sector 199)
- The switch in the south-west room will lower bars to an area to the north of there. Head there and look through the north-east corner wall to spot an eye. Shoot that eye to get a supercharge. (sector 673)
- Get the armor in the south-west building and head south-west after getting it. In the south-west corner, use the west wall to find an energy cell and a backpack. (sector 157)
- At the yellow key, shoot a FIREBLU wall to the south. This opens a compartment to the south-east with an armor bonus and a berserk pack. (sector 41)
- On top of the walls at the north end, head to the south-east and face east, towards a cave with a supercharge. Run and jump that way to reach a thin wall that lets you get the supercharge. (sector 343)
- Enter the west building, then use the skull switch at the north end. Ride up and go through the east wall to collect a light amplification visor or a computer area map depending on your skill level. (sector 408)
- In the dark room at the west side with red cracks and blue lines, go to the north end and open the south wall that the light shines on. You will find armor bonuses, a box of bullets, a berserk pack, and either an armor or a megaarmor depending on your skill level. (sector 437)
- After opening the north-east passage in the dark room, head there, but before heading east, turn south and shoot the eye to open an alcove to the north with a box of shotgun shells and an energy cell pack. (sector 679)
Non-official[edit]
- At the north-east maze, go around to the north side for a BFG9000.
- Drop off from the top of the maze at the north for an energy cell pack and the south for a berserk pack and backpack.
- From the front of the west building, drop into the lava and follow the wall around to the far north for an invulnerability.
- In the first room of the west building, open the flat part of the wall in the south-east for access to a shotgun guy's alcove.
