Walkthrough[edit]

Map of Hell's Mosh Pit
Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

As the level starts you will face several imps, demons, spectres and cacodemons. Immediately step east and west to get a plasma gun and chaingun, which are guarded by more demons on Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher, then kill the approaching monsters before heading north up a staircase - you will collect a rocket launcher on the way. When you reach the top you will be taken up to an open area with a baron of Hell; a spiderdemon will rise from the floor behind it then teleport away when it sees you. Press the skull switch that rises from the floor to lower two walls behind you, then go through either wall to return to the starting room where the spiderdemon has appeared. Kill it to end the level and the game.

Secrets[edit]

There are no official secrets on this map.

Bugs[edit]

Two barons (Things 2 and 3) in the north have no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so they do not actually appear in the level.

As this level does not contain official secrets, the NM 100S category is redundant.
