Monsters[edit]
Epic features several sprite replacements and modifications to the stock Doom II monsters, such as the heavy weapon dude wearing a bandana or the imp being recolored dark brown with yellow eyes. Despite these changes, the stats for these monsters remains unchanged. Epic also uses a DeHackEd patch which changes some values for the non-blocking hanging corpse decoration, such as giving it hit points, a pain sound and various other attributes. However, the decoration is non-shootable so none of these changes have any effect in-game. The DeHackEd patch also redundantly contains map names for maps 06-32, taken from Revolution!. Andrey Budko, when asked about this oddity, stated that it was a "mistake".
