Execute is a single-level PWAD for Doom that was released in 1994. It was designed by Steven Doornbos and uses the music track "Demons on the Prey" by Robert Prince.

This WAD makes use of early experimental vanilla tricks, such as new ambient sounds, and moving textures.

Essentials[edit]

This is a relatively simple and fast level. Follow the path. There are no obstacles or other directions. You will enter red tunnels where you will fall through several jumps, which will teleport you directly to the next area. When you reach the room with the moving textures, keep moving against the wall until you teleport to the next area.

You will now be in a fairly open and dark area, with several spectres surrounding you. Activate the platform on the north side of the map, then go west. Go straight ahead and you will enter a large dark room. At the back you will find a megaarmor. When you pick it up, several spectres will be released in the area, but you don't have enough ammo to finish them off, so hurry back to the start of the path. By this point, the platform you activated at the start should be ready.

Ascend the platform until you reach the exit, simply cross it and you will have finished the map.

Secrets[edit]

There are no official secrets on this map.

Bugs[edit]

100% kills is not achievable on this map as there is an inaccessible zombieman behind the wall east of the door to the exit.

The blue door can only be opened once from the west side. This means that if, after the door is opened, a spectre opens and closes the door from the east side, you can be trapped in the blue key room.

As this level does not contain official secrets, the NM 100S category is redundant.
