Frank A. Cinders was a Marine Private First Class stationed on Mars in the Delta Complex during the events of Doom 3. He was one of the volunteers who participated in Delta Lab's secret expeditions into Hell prior to the demonic invasion. Private Cinders was one of the few who did not fall victim to the strange psychosis that many members of the expeditions became afflicted with. He was, however, unnerved by the sight of the other dimension and wondered what the UAC hoped to prove there.
Cinders was killed in the demonic invasion. His PDA can be found next to his body. It contains a code that can be used to open a storage cabinet.
