Fredrik Nilsson

Fredrik Nilsson (also known as Fred Nilsson) was hired by id Software in early 2000 to work as an artist/animator. He worked on Quake III: Team Arena expansion pack for Quake III Arena and after that on Doom 3. For the latter, he did most of the character animation. He left the company in November 2004. Before and after his time at id, he worked in the movie industry. Some of the titles he has worked on include Shrek, Madagascar, and How to Train Your Dragon. He said he came to work at id because he was a big fan of their games.
