Google, LLC is an American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, a search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. The company leads the development of the Android mobile operating system, and on March 19, 2019, Google announced that it would enter the video game market, launching a cloud gaming platform called Google Stadia.[1] However, Google announced in September 2022[2] that it would be shutting down Stadia on January 18, 2023. Doom-series games have been released for both Android mobile devices, via the Google Play app store, and for the Stadia service:
