Green War is a Doom II multiplayer megawad by Jason Root (Hellbent), and originally released in 2001. It is a set of 32 deathmatch maps, mostly of smaller sizes. The final version is dated to July 3, 2002, as uploaded to the /idgames archive. Green War has consistently remained one of the most popular deathmatch mapsets for Doom, and received a sequel, Greenwar II, in 2009.
