Gros Rat (French for Big Rat) is a vanilla slaughter map for Doom II. Released in September 2019, it was designed by Roofi in 30 minutes, as part of a speedmapping challenge held on the Doomworld forums. It features a MIDI rendition of "Milk It" by Nirvana (from In Utero).

Secrets[edit]

  1. Go to the small nukage pool southwest of where you teleport and go through the slimefall to get a soul sphere. (sector 32)

The release includes a separate demo file, GrosRat_Roofi_304.lmp, by the author. It requires Doom II v1.9 to be viewed and runs for 3:16.29 (6870 tics), showing off the level on Ultra-Violence.
