Hellfire III is a nine-level episode replacement for Doom II, created by Shadowman and first released under the working title Hellfire: School on November 7, 2017. At that time, the WAD contained only four levels. An update with three more maps was released on February 17, 2019. Final version was released on March 10, 2019. Just as Hellfire and Hellfire 2 before it, Hellfire III is split between city and Hell maps, and once again features many familiar locales, though now include new environments such as a school taken over by demons and a large demonic tomb.
