The hellhound or hell dog[1] is a monster that was cut during production of Doom 64.[2] Based on its sculpture by Gregor Punchatz, the hellhound's appearance is that of a hairless demon canine with an extra head, reminiscent of the Greek mythological beast Orthrus, related to the more commonly known Cerberus.
