Heretic pre-release screenshots

Before the release of Heretic, several pre-release screenshots were published in various gaming magazines. These shots show the changes the game went through during the final stages of development.

Notable features[edit]

  • Three different early versions of the status bar are shown.
  • Many of the levels shown have different geometry and texturing than the release version.
