Imp eats the dead sentinel.
This article is about the monster in Doom: The Dark Ages. For other games, see:

The imp appears in Doom: The Dark Ages, it could be seen in some frames of the Developer Direct event on January 23, 2025. Compared to the previous two iterations, this demon has a bluish gray in its color scheme, as well as gray fur on its forearms. The fur also spans from its head to the back.

Lore[edit]

The most common demon of low-born status, imps are carrion-feeding scavengers. They possess a tough, leathery hide and rows of jagged spikes. The projectiles they fire are sourced from the internal hellfire that runs through their veins.

Trivia[edit]

  • Despite the fact that the codex entry says that imps are have "rows of spikes", the model itself only has one large curved spike on each knee, like its counterpart from Doom Eternal.
  • The color scheme of its toy is based on the stone counterpart rather than on the normal imp.
