John Coffey

From DoomWiki.org

John Coffey is a level designer and playtester involved with the creation of the Super Nintendo version of Doom. As an employee of Sculptured Software, Inc. (archived 🏛), he was the resident "Doom fanatic" and as such served as one of the game's main play testers.[1] He also did the level conversions for this version. John originally made a series of more elaborate edits to the game's levels with the idea of offering a unique experience for the Super Nintendo port, but these modifications were rejected by id Software, who wanted to keep the game as faithful as possible to the original, so his final conversions are dialed back to only include necessary changes.[1]
