Judas23 is a single-level PWAD for Doom II that is considered one of the all-time classic deathmatch maps.[1][2] It was released on January 20, 1996 by Brian Vannatta (Stragenl), followed on January 26 by a small update named Judas23_ to change the BFG trap at spawn point 2,[3] and which since became the commonly preferred variant.[4]

In 2013, Judas23 was one of the tournament maps at the 20th Anniversary Doom Challenge.
