Kyopi First Heretic WAD is a single-level WAD for Heretic designed by Kyosuke Inada and published in January 1995. It is considered the first Heretic WAD file to be uploaded to the idgames archive. The level consists of a multitude of rooms connected by small pathways. The geometry is very rudimentary and angled, with inconsistent texture usage and a high number of enemies in very tight spots. Unlike Origwad for Doom, which was designed from scratch by hand, this WAD was made using WADED and DoomEd, both fully developed level editors for the year. Particularly, WADED was also one of the first editors to support Heretic.
