Light of Day is a single-level PWAD for Doom that was released in 1994. It was designed by Daniel Norman (Stormin).

Secrets[edit]

  1. The water trench leading to the blue key has a secret door part-way along (marked with a lighter texture) leading to a medikit (hard skill only), three health bonuses, a megaarmor, a partial invisibility (not on easy skill), an imp, and a spectre (hard skill only). There is also a switch here. (sector 68)
  2. The switch in #1 opens up a door at the end of the path reached by going through the door east of the yellow key and turning south. It leads to a room with a plasma rifle. (sector 25)
  3. The room before the final lift has a secret door in the south-east (marked with a small alcove) leading to four energy cell packs and a BFG9000. (sector 114)

Bugs[edit]

The path to secret #2 contains a secret door (marked by a Poison sign) leading to a room with a chaingun and two medikits. The nukage floor is non-damaging. The door to this room can only be opened from the outside, so if it closes while you are inside, you will be trapped in the room.

This WAD features a single built-in demo, DEMO1, by the author. It requires Doom v1.2 to be viewed and runs for 1:29.49 (3132 tics), showing off the level on Nightmare!.
