MAP01: COFFIN is the first map of Plutonia 3: Going to Surface. It was designed by Sergey Burow (SilverMiner) and uses a MIDI rendition of "Zombie" by The Cranberries as its music track. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 30 seconds.

Secrets[edit]
- Head to the block north of the start and use the switch on its west side to lower a wall to the west, which contains a green armor, a backpack, and medikits. (sector 19)
- Get out of the water at the start and turn around. You will see a chaingun. Although you can get it for the secret, the actual secret sector is not only tiny, but takes a while to rise up to the top. By the time you hear a lift stop sound, that is when you can register the secret. If you take the teleporter mentioned in Secret #4, you will automatically register this secret. (sector 22)
- Open the blue door and go through the north waterfall to find a switch. (sector 47)
- The switch in Secret #3 lowers the teleporter to the east, which takes you to Secret #2. However, you cannot trigger Secret #4 itself. (sector 63)
- Head south of Secret #4 and behind the first column, use the switch to open the northwest area. (sector 127)
