MAP01: Cradle to Grave is the first map of ZBlood. It was designed by Jeffrey Graham (psyren) and Joseph Otey (Doorhenge), and uses the music track "". The par time defined in MAPINFO is 2:00.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Use the south grave at the start to get a box of shotgun shells. (sector 4)
  2. Lower the northeast corner at the start to get a chainsaw. (sector 8)
  3. Head outside, then at the northwest hedge, use the east side to find a body armor. (sector 37)
  4. At the south courtyard, head to where the dagger key is and climb the wall to the top to get rage. (sector 50)
  5. Enter the funeral home and head west of the sign. Lower the southwest wall to get a sawed-off, shotgun shells, and an ammo satchel. (sector 142)
  6. In the central room, walk on the south couch, then go to the stage and find TNT and Zippo (sector 75)
  7. In Secret #6, open the west wall for a scroll map. (sector 156)
  8. Head east of the previous two secrets and play the organ to reveal beast vision. (sector 32)
  9. South from the previous secret, alcoves open. Use the damaged wall to the east to find a medikit and a path south to a box of TNT, a super armor, and shotgun shells. (sector 208)
  10. Head south of the alcoves mentioned above to the morgue. Before the turn, shoot the damaged cabinet to find an armor. (sector 76)
  11. In the morgue, shoot the southeast window and jump out, staying on the north ledge. Head east, then south, then use the wall to get a medikit. (sector 271)
  12. Head to the west side of the morgue and shoot the west wall with the green line to find a passage back to the start. (sector 159)
  13. In the room with the eye key, lower the south bookshelf for a spray can. (sector 189)
  14. In the northernmost room, go through the south furnace to get a Life Seed. (sector 170)
  15. In the same room, use the saw at the northeast end to lower the south wall to get TNT and Zippo as well as bundles of TNT. (sector 21)


A sawed-off shotgun (Thing 218) in the hallway east of the starting room has no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so it does not actually appear in the level.
