MAP01: Dance on the Water is the first map of Dance on the Water. It was designed by El Inferno and uses the music track "Dance on the Water" by Kalmah, sequenced to MIDI.

Secrets[edit]
- In the northernmost building, go to the west side, then jump to the platforms at the northwest end, running across them all the way east (not missing one platform), then southeast to a berserk pack before the lift rises. The lift lowers for just ten seconds after you go to the first platform at the northwest end. (sector 3639)
Bugs[edit]
Two megaspheres (Things 3735 and 3736) and four boxes of shotgun shells (3749 through 3752) have no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so they do not actually appear in the level.
