Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Resistance in the dungeon is minimal: a few Ashura Inu dogs and cattle prod goons. The dungeon entrance is guarded by a firing squad of Stormtroopers, who are in the middle of executing a few unruly slaves.
Up the stairs and through the door is the junction connecting the dungeon with four other rooms. The exit switch is locked behind the red door.
Clear out the south room to grab the ammo boxes and green armor there, which triggers a large Stormtrooper ambush. Through the north office is a room with a view of the Osakan cityscape, and several troopers guarding the red keycard, including a Zero Guard who flies in through the window for a surprise attack. Unlock the red door, kill the Cyborg Enforcer, and hit the switch to escape the level.
Other points of interest[edit]
Secrets[edit]
- From the drop point, hug the right wall until you come to a set of oil drums. Walk between the oil drums and through the false wall to collect an AK-47 and a few stimpacks. (sector 93)
- From the drop point, hug the left wall and follow it to the opposite side of the makeshift graveyard, where you will find a switch disguised as a brick in the wall. Press the brick to open two hidden cells: the one directly behind you contains grenades. (sector 96) The one in the next cell block has a Cyborg Enforcer waiting to ambush you.
- There is a cola machine in the four-way junction. Press the buttons on the cola machine to lower the pillar and grab a hidden AA-12 auto shotgun. (sector 33)
- There are two animated computer screens in the office north of the junction. The one on the right requires a yellow keycard: when you use the keycard on it, the junction fire extinguisher case opens to reveal a hidden soul sphere. (sector 101)

Inspiration and development[edit]
Like all of the megawad's maps, this map is a detailed re-imagining of the original E1M1 of Nerves of Steel for DOS, right down to the dungeon full of dead player characters.
